Ujiri belongs to the African ethnicity while she holds a Canadian nationality.

Her Education

Ramatu moved to the United States at a young age although it’s unclear when she migrated to America. According to Heavy, after relocating to the States, she started living in the D.C. area.

Talking about her education, the outlet reported that she completed her schooling at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland. Moreover, while in high school, Ramatu played basketball just like her husband Masai.

While going through her old tweets, it comes to know that she’s a Baltimore Ravens fan. Back in February 2013, she celebrated Ravens’ Superbowl XLVII win in a tweet.

She reportedly worked at Outer Skinz Image Group, a beauty consultant that offers “commercial print, editorial, runway, glamour, television, and edgy looks.”

The 35-year-old fashion model, Ujiri, and her spouse Masai both hail from northern Africa. They relocated to the US at different times and with different purposes, however, after they met in the mid-2000s, their only goal is to be happy together.

As per the reports, they started dating in 2007, some time after they crossed path for the first time. After a couple of years of dating life, they decided to take their relationship to a next level and got married. The pair hasn’t revealed where and when they tied the knot, but as of now, they live a happy conjugal life in Toronto, Canada.

Born in Bournemouth, England to Nigerian parents, Masai Ujiri grew up in his hometown Zaria, Nigeria. He left Nigeria during high school to pursue his dream of playing basketball and played at Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, Washington. Later, he played for Bismarck State College in North Dakota.

He kicked off his NBA career with Denver Nuggets in 2002 followed by Orlando Magic. Following his playing career, he joined the backroom staff of the Toronto Raptors in 2008. After a two-year stint with the Raptors, Ujiri returned to Nuggets in 2010 as general manager and executive vice president of basketball operations. While there, he became the NBA Executive of the Year in 2013.

Ujiri returned back to the Raptors as general manager for the 2013/14 season. Subsequently, in 2016, he left his position as a general manager and became president of basketball operations. As president, he helped the team win their first NBA championship in the 2019 season.

She is a Mother of Two

The Ujiri-duo have been in a relationship for more than a decade now. In their happily lived decade, the couple also welcomed two kids together. The husband and wife gave birth to a daughter named Zahara Ujiri and a son, whose identity has not been revealed.

The doting mother of two shared a number of moments of the happy family on her social media posts, which have since been deleted, unfortunately. Some of the photos showed their trip to Disneyland, local parks, and more.

Ramatu Ujiri doesn’t indulge in using social media much as of 2021. However, in the past, she used to share almost everything about her lifestyle on social media, especially on Twitter. She joined Twitter in 2009 and she was most active on the platform from early 2011 to late 2012.

She nearly posted two thousand posts on Twitter in that period of time which averages 2.8 tweets per day. At the present, she has deleted most of her tweets and has remained away from social media for a long time.

Ujiri has done a couple of works in the past and as of now, she is doing modeling. So, we can safely say that she earns a good amount of money from her profession. Several online tabloids have mentioned his net worth to be much less than the amount we mentioned above. But, going with the fact that Masai had signed with the Raptors for $15 million until 2016 when he extended his contract for the next five years for a reported $32 million.

Meanwhile, talking about their real estate, Masai and his wife, Ujiri bought a spec house in Miami in January 2020 for a decent $2.6 million. The 2019-built house has six bedrooms and six bathrooms with a three-car garage.
