After a couple of years of dating life, they decided to take their relationship to a next level and got married. Born in Bournemouth, England to Nigerian parents, Masai Ujiri grew up in his hometown Zaria, Nigeria. He left Nigeria during high school to pursue his dream of playing basketball and played at Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, Washington. Later, he played for Bismarck State College in North Dakota.

He kicked off his NBA career with Denver Nuggets in 2002 followed by Orlando Magic. Following his playing career, he joined the backroom staff of the Toronto Raptors in 2008. After a two-year stint with the Raptors, Ujiri returned to Nuggets in 2010 as general manager and executive vice president of basketball operations. While there, he became the NBA Executive of the Year in 2013.

Ujiri returned back to the Raptors as general manager for the 2013/14 season. Subsequently, in 2016, he left his position as a general manager and became president of basketball operations. As president, he helped the team win their first NBA championship in the 2019 season.

She is a Mother of Two

The Ujiri-duo have been in a relationship for more than a decade now. In their happily lived decade, the couple also welcomed two kids together. The husband and wife gave birth to a daughter named Zahara Ujiri and a son, whose identity has not been revealed.
