Speaking to the magazine, the rock star said in the same interview that he once had to skip one of his solo concerts in August 2015 because of his wife’s frequent suicidal thoughts.
“I cancelled that tour, because she got to a point – this is really hard for me to even say the words – but she was having suicidal thoughts. That was as bad as it got.”
In Sept 2017, The Killers singer released the song titled ‘Some Kind of Love,’ dedicating to his wife. He said Rolling Stone about the song,
“Over the last few years, it has become a big part of our life. The end of the song is me and my boys singing, ‘I can’t do this alone/We need you at home/There’s so much to see/And we know that you’re strong.’ It’s really emotional. I played that for her, and she just sobbed. But I’m proud of that one.”

Over the years, the PTSD fighter has been involved in numerous charitable projects. She once even fully shaved her head for the non-profit organization called St. Baldrick’s Foundation which helps to raise funds for children with cancer.
When did Tana meet her future husband Brandon Flowers?
The couple crossed their path for the first time in 2001 at a thrift store called Buffalo Exchange on Flamingo Road in Las Vegas, where Flowers happened to visit with his bandmate Dave to purchase some supplies for their first gig. He then noticed Tana who opted for a bootleg Joy Division t-shirt with Mickey Mouse on it and a pink trench coat.
As soon as the main vocalist of The Killer saw her, the singer thought the girl was too cool to hang out with. He recalled,
“She was cooler than me. I believe in fate. She’s perfect for me. I knew early on. She’s just different, creative, full of life.”
Soon after, they started talking to each other and their initial intro ended up in exchanging their phone numbers.

It took only a few days for the couple to go on their first date. Talking about their first encounter, tana said that her beau, “took me to an all-night record store and quizzed me on different artists – everything from Bowie to the Smiths and Leonard Cohen. I passed when I told him I had the import version of a Bowie album.”
Besides, both of them are also music lovers. Flowers learned that his wife is too pretty into music from the time they first met. He said that Tana played Tom Waits‘ song ‘Ruby’s Arms,’ while they were driving through Vegas. He said of the song,
“My wife and I bonded over this song when we first met.”

The loving duo who went through several ups and downs dated for about four years before they tied the knot on 2nd August 2005. Tana and her hubby exchanged their vows in “a small, intimate wedding” ceremony which was organized on the island of O’ahu in Hawaii.

The Killers’ spokesperson said that the ceremony was attended by a few of their family and friends including his bandmates Dave, Mark, and Ronnie.
Later on, the newlywed duo shifted into their new house Henderson, 10 miles from the Las Vegas strip.
Tana is the Mother of Three Children
