After 35-days of radiation treatment and 7 sessions of chemotherapy, the tumor was gone. He even thanked his now-wife Felicity for taking care of him and staying till he was cured.

However, all those therapies impacted his sense of smell and taste and he had to depend on a feeding tube to consume for months.
